Where is the mascot on the app?

i dont go onto the app very often mostly because i just forget. but after the last update on apple, our lil ink mascot is just GONE. he used to be doing fun things when i went into the ink tab to watch some ads but now there's just the dog in the corner! dont get me wrong, it's cute, but i miss our lil ink blob mascot. anyone else feel this way?

New mascot is dog, you can see little icon on your tab (before name of site) isn't little black ink drop , now it's dog, they even changed description from "bite sized stories" or something similar to "stories you crave"
