Basically that, yeah! It was a little hard to get started because when no one is watching/participating in chat it's up to you to just find various things to talk about while you work to try and be entertaining to would-be viewers. I would often just babble on about my process or tell stories or talk about things that I'm interested in.
Recently, though, I've had some consistent viewers and so it's just like social time while I work on my comic. Some of my viewers are also comic creators so a lot of the time we'll talk process or discuss opinions about various methods and approaches and such. Others just like to watch art or are interested in learning how to make comics, so sometimes I'll splash mini tutorials in or wev if someone has a question about something specific. It's all around a good time The only "downside" is that I definitely feel like the time I spend drawing on stream isn't super focused or efficient as a result lol. Sometimes I'll end a 2-2.5 hour stream and be like "dang, I only inked like 4 characters today"
