Its inspired by states of matter and powers are presented as mystery powers from the 2 protagonists' pov
consumption of another superhuman's blood will grant you their powers temporarily, if a superhuman eats fellow superhuman whole you will gain their powers permanently, those with shapeshifting abilities have stopped aging and will revert to how they looked when they heard the strange hum (in beginning of series),
the series ties into ancient gods/demons who have vampiric traits such as fangs etc, they will play a bigger role in season 2 along with the mc brothers' lineage
For now the more obvious ones are:
Raffa a Gas type is an amalgamation of Vampire and Lycan. He enjoys taking a vapor-wolf form but not limited to that form. Other skills include: Levitation, energy drain, hypnosis, cannibalism. Was also inspired by Dracula taking Wolf Form in the Bram Stoker's Novel
And later there's Dr. Princeton who offers Cold Plasma services but 1st takes his payment in blood! Outside his incredible flight and strength capabilities, he's got a condition that causes him to turn into marble statue once sunlight hits.
