Where's the border to NSFW?

Hi guys!
I'm relatively new in this forum (or rather relatively inactive, haha) and this question popped up recently in my head:
When should I tag an episode as NSFW?
In my manga Requiem I tagged every episode as NSFW where blood is visible. I'd say my manga is teen rated but does this also mean it should be NSFW? It's not hardcore gore or something in that category. So I'm quite unsure if I was overcautious with my tagging.

And how do you feel if there are webcomics with NSFW? Do you like it or do you avoid those without looking at the chapters?

There are a lot of threads about this on the forums, so doing a forum-search for NSFW will turn up a lot of insight from how people on here make the distinction!

From the Tapastic Content Policy:

Adult Material: Tapastic ALLOWS mature content featuring nudity, non-graphic sex, extreme violence, and strong language as long as it is behind our NSFW filter.

If it is one of those things, it should go behind a NSFW filter -- and that's all we know for sure. There's still a lot of uncertainty on exactly where those lines are, and different people use the filter differently.... but NotSafeForWork doesn't mean "not safe for kids." It means there's adult material you might get in trouble for looking at.

Been meaning to do another thread of this kind myself , though I have seen this subject before too. I'm not exactly sure what belongs behind the filter and what doesn't, and I wouldn't want to use it unless I absolutely have to. Though rather than violence I'm confused about the language issue. I'm not planning on having any character go overboard with swearing, but the occasional cussword will probably make an appearance. What would people consider okay and what not.

That's actually kinda helpful , especially because most seem to have a similar opinion to mine.
I guess in the end I'll have to use my common sense to determine when I'll use the filter.

nsfw stands for not safe for work, kids don't work.
