Which character of your novel/comic you enjoy writing the most? Why?

For me, writing Paris feels fresh.
He's different from other characters that I have written so far. Paris's main quality is that he's incredibly selfish but I love him for it because that's what makes him more alive.
He's not the typical greek hero who will sacrifice himself and kill for honor and I think greek stories need someone like him.
He rather lives for himself and keeps his lover by his side than saving Olympus and fighting for honor.
But till, the way he is... It's different.
And he's likable despite everything.
I love him for it and writing him is a great new feeling for me!

Ooh Paris sounds very interesting! And your cover is awesome.

For me, I like writing my side characters, Dina and Valerie, the most - mainly because they're bitches who express their honest opinions about people. They're both very different though. Dina is a 70+ year old retiree who's a very bitter lady because of her years as a nurse and failed relationships. Valerie's a 19-year old student who's an independent, judgmental girl. And they are both able to see through the facade of the main character, Sandra - a failed singer who returns to the hometown.

Well, right now it's Rookie, cause as of right now I can make her more expressive than Tomobi, who's a beta right now, and Kiorif, who's a blank sheet. But Rookie, with Rookie I can have her be more wild and open with her dialogue and actions. Though once I get further into the story I should have fun with way more characters.

I enjoy writing Cindy and Lorenzo. Their banter is fun to write. Cindy's kinda tactless, but only to Lorenzo who have known her since med school and Lorenzo just rolls with it.

I'm also excited to write scenes with Cindy and Elijah together. They haven't met yet but I'm already imagining the drama that's going to happen.

Well Jill might do some writing. She enjoys reading novels. She might write a fanfic but it's a love story of her and Eliza some sort.

Benjamin. He has so many layers also I like how much I can do with him. Coming up with scenarios for him is really fun.

I love writing every one of my boys, but i'd be lying if I didn't say Azreth wasn't the best to write.
His narration is waaaaaaaaay more casual than anyone else's, he is the most extroverted out of the main trio, and his style is easier for me to pull off, and as a bonus I can just write anything that comes to mind when writing him and it never really feels out of character... He is totally the sort of self-absorbed himbo who would say some dumb shit right in the middle of combat or a serious situation, and I just love that. xD

I could mention how different he is from the other characters as also a bonus,
Him and Vernon are polar opposites, while Grey has common ground with both of them.

Vernon is the hero, kind, gentle, selfless, loving, often depressed, and a big martyr, he is wholesome and cute most of the time, and you just want to hug him and tell him everything will be alright.
Grey is more in between, he knows when to play nice and when to play rough, he is often very sarcastic and confident without being cocky, and he is a badass.
And then there is Azreth... Very expressive, all the colors of the emotional spectrun showing up in one chapter, 90% of the time he is selfish and arrogant, and even dowright manipulative, he also often goes in over his head when he feels challenged and gets himself into stupid messes... He can tottally kick ass, but if you spend a day watching him doing his regular stuff you begin to question wether the stories of his prowesses are really real.

There is a reason he has been a big fan favorite so far, and I do think it's precisely because of these traits. ^^

I suppose I like writing Zeta Toad - he hasn’t appeared yet, but he will. Zeta is essentially what Mr Toad of Toad Hall from The Wind in the Willows would be like if he were one of the most horrible pieces of refuse one is likely to find. Zeta commits horrible deeds, and does things that are so detrimental to everyone else - but has success with them. I suppose I like creating characters that are either overpowered and/or horrible.

Oof, I'd say I like writing Valon the best. He's a secondary character, so what screen time he gets, I like making the most of. I like him so much that I'm planning a spin-off book just about him. The outline is in its early stages and I have written some scenes already.

It's funny though, once I turned him into the protagonist, writing him isn't as easy anymore. What do you mean I have to dive deeper into his character?

Hmm they're all interesting to write for LOL

But when it comes to a single character, I like to write for Pablo cause it's fun to write his confused but gentle manner of speaking. He always has an air of "I don't really know what's going on, but I don't really have the initiative to go against it", he's just fun.

For banter, it's certainly Harrison and Amethyst because they bring out the worst in each other. And I don't mean in like a toxic way, I mean in the "siblings annoy each other and I'm petty because I don't respect you" kind of way. Amethyst is gentle and caring to everyone EXCEPT Harrison and will not let him have his way.

I'd have to say I definitely enjoy writing my second main character Zane, despite his appearance and species (he's a zombie), he's actually one of those lovable and lazy goofball characters.

I enjoy all my characters, but writing Jeez seems easy as I rely on my own reactions. Besh is another aspect of my own persona. Sam was fun; he's a lot like Doc Savage, with a streak of Retief. For Willard, I leaned on memories of my Dad. For Zamani, I had a mental model of a Tarzan/Peter Pan hybrid. Sometimes, they turn out to be their own characters, but writing is a learning experience.

I really enjoyed writing Genji for a couple of reasons. First of all, he's not really the type of character you see a lot in literature. He's not an upstanding citizen sticking up for what's right, but at the same time, he doesn't fall into the trap of being an absolute horrible human being like so many anti-hero types. Equally, he has flaws and inconsistencies that I think make him relatable, even if he is from a time 200 years in the future.

A bit of a spoiler, but I have a character in Episode 12 of my comic that I managed to sneak in. He's from another comic I've been working on for like... six years. I expected THAT webcomic to be my first project, but instead it ended up being That Stick Figure Isekai.

Needless to say, I'm having the time of my LIFE writing him lmao. It's like meeting an old friend again.

Although his appearance does mean that I'll be forced to kill him off should I return to my other comic (which I totally would). Which is fine since I have no clue what to do with him protag wise.

Queen Mab: She's an adorably strange fairy queen, and I love drawing her design.
Thor: He's a loveable himbo. Nuff said
Loki: In every panel, I draw Loki in a new outfit, just for fun.

For me, I'm enjoying every single character that I've created.

But if I have to say that I like my main character the most, Cynthia, that was an obvious lie to myself.
Among all the characters that I've created, I like one of my sub-characters the most, Alice.
She holds much more mysterious power than any other character in the series I've written so far (I even created another sub-story book just to tell her tale: ARCADIA)
Cynthia was an imbalanced character, but due to her sulking and depression characteristics, I've slowly demoted her as a way to balance out the plot to make more way for her struggle to accomplish the mission that has been entrusted to her.
It was a struggle between siblings, a struggle for power, authority, and love. As both siblings hold light and dark in their composition characteristics, I feel more comfortable having the antagonist (Nanami) do whatever she wants but will repent when the story is almost the end. Blood is thicker than water, so I always remind myself to find a way for Nanami to hit hard on her mistake and undo everything she has done to her sister, Cynthia.

I personally like drawing and writing about my main character, Xepholen, which shows in the webcomic. But that's a given seeing that he is the main character, and the story wouldn't exist if he wasn't the main plot. So, I am going to talk about my Secondary characters. If I have to choose, I will say Cleobelle hands down. She is a narcissist manipulator and is stubborn right to her very core. She's aware of her looks uses her charm to manipulate and if that doesn't work, she uses her Magic to do all the talking for her. Being an Aristocrat, she talks properly (in other words, she doesn't talk in slang), so I have to slow down in her dialog and choose her words correctly. Either way, she is quite fun to write for and her attitude can be explosive.

Bob is my favorite to write for because of his off beat sense of humor and unique look. He was one of my earlier characters in terms of creating and drawing, and having him and Jules together on page feels very "nostalgic" or comforting for me.
