Which is more popular and has a larger audience, LINE Webtoon or Tapas?

Tapas lets you see the amount of people who have seen the webcomic but LINE Webtoon only allows you to see the amount of people who favorited the comic. I need to know which of them is more popular. Favorites and likes don't equal the number of people who actually read the comic. I see that most webcomics here on Tapas have tens of thousands of views or even hundreds of thousands of views,meanwhile LINE Webtoon doesn't show the number of people who read the comic. I'm still very confused because it looks as if LINE Webtoon gets more hype than Tapas. I am launching a webcomic next year and I want to be sure that a large amount of people will actually read it.

webtoon shows me the viewcount too, at least on the browser ver. If you go to the main page of your comic on the right there's an area that shows you likes, views, and star rating. of course this is on the whole series. not just individual updates. As for audience size, i believe webtoons has a larger one (don't quote me on this though) but honestly the amount of views you're gonna get depends on both luck and also choice of genre. I've found that there are some genres that do extremely well on webtoons while others fair better on tapastic. i honestly recommend just trying out both.

I'd wager that Webtoons is far bigger and also seems to have an easier time on new artists as far as visibility and discoverability.

While not concrete evidence, I uploaded a new comic on Tapas and Webtoons at the same time over a month ago and it grew faster on Webtoons. Even tho I already had over one hundred subs on Tapas, very few of that crossed over to the new comic. Currently sitting at over one hundred subs on Webtoons for that comic but only over thirty here. shrug
