Which is the most popular category in webtoons?

Im starting a webcomic in webtoons site. with the hope that will become a in fatured some time in the future. But recently I have doubts about the category. My webcomic is action and comedy but I saw that the most featured are slice of life and comedy. Will I have to change or definitely start with another? They do not featured based on category, they feature based on the quality of your Webtoon/if it brings anything new to the table. Most of the featured series' are SoL and comedy because the majority of comics created in discover are from those categories (1st most popular is Comedy at 18k, second is SoL at 13.5k)

I don't think you should feel pressured to necessarily change, as comics from all of the main genres are featured, regardless of how popular that genre is in relation to others. It's more about making a standout comic within your selected genre~

That said, if your goal is to have a successful/featured comic, do be sure to do some research and give thought to what makes popular comics in your genre popular. Not that you should outright copy them, of course, but looking at things like their story pacing, how they hook readers, things that people comment on in the comment section etc. can provide insight on things to try.

Surely Romance.
I don't know why but love stories are really popular on webtoon more than Tapas, but i can't complain cause it's all my comics genre and i love it
