I think I would be a 4 on your scale! I devote myself to comics seriously and consider myself a professional, but I usually avoid "The Industry," haha. I prefer webcomics! Most of my work is self-published, and comics is not my living. If it never becomes my living, that wouldn't be a failure to me, but it is definitely my priority.
There's some implications here that I'd quibble with, though.....
The idea that "being published" or "print work" has anything to do with professionalism seems outdated -- no one would say Der-Shing Helmer is not a pro who makes a good chunk of her living from her comics, but she's talked before about feeling very uncomfortable with the idea of her work existing as a physical object, and prefers focusing on her patreon.
And there seems to be an idea that comics Pros would obviously work in art, but that's not always true! Many cartoonists love comics with a passion, take them seriously, and have published work, but their main job is something unrelated that they also love -- I know of at least two scientists, one teacher/scientist, and one cartoonist who works for the government at a job she won't (can't??) specify.
