hmmmm
I am not a comic artist myself so..
I'll just give you my view on it
I do prefer the uncolored version you have drown out and I do agree with the comments that people have said about the colored version, but since this is about on whether or not you should color or not in a comic.
I think it would be "would you want to color in your comic?" Or "would you want to go thru that process? "
I've seen the process, the looks, and I myself have gone thru the coloring of a character, it does take time and it is a pain, (well for me it is a pain
I don't know about anybody about that
),
but then again I've also seen artist use the bucket tool and it quickly fills in the drawing and they put it out.
Maybe it is the program you are using that makes the color version look weird, I had used this site called Kleki and using the bucket tool it looks like the drawing you have presented.
Whelp everybody is different on this as well so how you color and such could be easy or hard.
hmm so I guess it is like if you will start coloring, make sure to not leave any left out white stuff in the drawing, So it will look good..
uh yeah
The drawing does look good, the uncolored drawing to me looks more "lively" than the colored one
but that is just me.
