That's great! I used photosop to put everything together, and later after effects!
I have heard of people using other programs, though. It takes time, but its a lot of fun to do, too!

I get excited whenever people talk about animated trailers. Don't have one yet, but it's definitely there on my to-do list.

I actually made a lot of storyboards, to get my ideas down, but I never really finished any of those projects. Maybe in the future though, but I think you can learn a lot from animating in general!

Thank you too

Windows video editor, since I don't own any proper editing software
It has limitations, but if you can go around them, it's enough to create something decent :+1:

Heh! My friend and I are currently in process of a music video that I'm releasing 3 days before the comic's launch (Sept 13th) as a countdown type thing. xD
I make music and my friend is a motion media artist, so we're both very excited for it. (I am paying her for her time, even though she is refusing monetary compensation because I'm a friend. So, I'm paying her in food! LOL)

It's just a 1 minute long theme song for the story, and is going to be an abstract music video (shapes and colors and crazy motion). At first, I wanted to just post an audio file of the theme song, but I thought about any potential readers who may be deaf (I have a few friends myself who are hearing impaired). So what better way to convey sound than to have some music video for them to at least look at? That's how it turned into a video.

I say, if you can do it, then go for it! I think it's a great way to reach out to more people and get others invested. But it does take time and energy to put together.

Hey, gotta start somewhere! I say you did a great job.
As long as it was fun to make and you learned something, it's a success! That's how art goes. lol

No, it’s the only program I use. I was wondering if anyone else used it for animation.

I haven't had much of a chance to do more than tiny loops, but I've been meaning to get into it for animating something bigger! This tutorial was great to actually learn the rather complicated terminology on it.(though, I STILL mistake regular layers for cels...)
