Who inspires your art style?

I would say my inspiration was like anime and webcomics but in a very general way. I don't know much else I'd describe it as.

I have plans for a comic with a look inspired by stuff like Tim Burton, I can't sleep, and Jhonen Vasquez, but that might change because I'm not sure how to translate this into what the comic is trying to be.

My drawing and comic expression style is mainly inspired by the following comic artists:

Chen Uen. In terms of painting, he is a god in my heart.

Miyazaki Hayao. His creative philosophy influenced me deeply. For a period, I often imitated the art style of his Nausicaä manga, but looking back now, I feel somewhat embarrassed. XD

Tsuruta Kenji. I really like the unique sense of stillness in his comics. His manga has no sound effect text, no speed lines. In short, it just looks quiet, with a feeling of weathered solemnity. Also, the natural, unembarrassed attitude toward nudity of characters in his manga fascinates me greatly

probably lots of things, but the most traceable influences are Peanuts Comics and Dan Povenmire I think.

I got hooked on Astro Boy in the 80s. It was black and white then. Then went more into the horror and supernatural genres of manga+anime. And on the flip side I love chibis.
Vampire Hunter D (1980s) ...I love the more realistic horror manga style and movies. I find such beauty in that specific style. Or the original Hellsing manga/anime too.

I don't know if anything specific inspires my art style - I always just tried to go for "semi-realistic" - but if I had to choose someone as an inspiration for my style I'd say the illustrator beidak! dont remember his actual name off the top of my head but he goes by beidak on social media :^) but i dont think our styles are super alike

My art has been evolving a lot recently but I've realized that I use blocky, sharp forms a lot because of the 90s and early 2000s DC cartoons and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. So Bruce Timm (I think) and Hirohiko Araki have stayed a constant in my drawing mind.

Lavendertowne was my biggest inspiration for developing my art style

And also Nirami

At first I started to copy Lavendertowne's art style when I was just starting to draw and later on I tweaked a few things and made it my own (her tuts really helped)
I started to use the big comically sized eyes that Nirami uses for her goofy sona (I thought it was really cute)

My old art style for Sagas was heavily influenced by Berserk and Vagabond or just a lot of seinen manga in general which you can definitely see it in the early chapters.

As the story progressed it started to look more shonen but the biggest influences have been both Dragon Ball and Seven Deadly Sins! You can definitely see it in the most recent chapters in Sagas and my new series Twin Dragonslayers. Even the coloring is heavily inspired by the way Nakaba colors.

First art style inspirations were various euro comic artists and comics like
Asterix, Tintin, Lucky Luke, Clever & Smart
And they will always have an influence on me and how I see comics.

Then I discovered artists like Dean Yeagle, Harvery Kurtzman/Will Elder
and different other artists who drew beautiful females and that influenced
me, is still my main motivation to learn how to draw.

Will Eisner and Jordi Bernet made me fall in love with black and white comics
and are also art style influences.

Disney is also an influence.

2 main components which influence my art style / things I love to draw
are cartoony and sexy stuff
