if i have to find and "hero" in my tastes, i can acept only Juza of the Clouds (from "hokuto no ken")
the first time i saw him was in the anime, and his show goes for dunno 10 episodes maybe less. that anime is full of great characters, but juza is another world...
"free as a cloud", the free-spirited wild man look like a jackass for most of the time, doing only his own business, but in the end fall in his last fight vs the main chara (Raoh, the most strong and skilled fighter in the series, the real protagonist of the series) for love, showing how and what an underdog can do when... have to do.
the kind of thing that dunno why, i love XD
the last fight in the anime was, in that age (the 80'), something stunning, an incredible force of will mixed with pure action, sarcasm, amazing duel in an extraodinary soundtrack. watching that as kid it was a shock.
