Hey, all! I dunno if this is the place for update suggestions to Tapas. Please direct me to a better place if needed. I'd LOVE to be able to bulk-like pages! AKA: liking several pages of a newly discovered comic at once instead of individually. It's so hard for me to remember to like a page whe…
My main dude Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. Not Kain, not Ben, Not Miguel. And not Miles, although he's the best option above all other imitators. And ESPECIALLY not the Peter Parker meat suit as worn by Dr. Octo-Pussy. For those who know what I'm referring to, yes I am still mad about that. I wi…
Hee hee hee, awesome! <3
I listen to a lot of Let's Plays on Youtube. But for actual music, I like the Monstercat channel. They have an awesome collection of music that updates several times a week.
As a reader I do tend to feel closed off from the content. I totally understand why it's there, so I would never actually get angry, but it does kind of feel like it's being rubbed in the face. It wouldn't prevent me from supporting, ultimately, if I liked a series enough. As a creator I never pla…
(I am having a lot of trouble posting here...) Aw, dearie, try not to stress about it too much. I know it's one thing to say it and another to do it, but I know where you're coming from. Growing up I never had a lot of support in anything I've done. Not from my parents, teachers or friends. An…
Eyes. I love them, they're the thing I doodle most often when I can't decide what to draw.
I was thinking this would be more of a 'what do you think of my story idea', rather than a call for contributors or readers. I think it sounds great if you're planning on paying everyone who contributed via the kickstarter campaign.
Oh. Well, this is one of those things you're happy to know that you're not alone in doing. Phew! I pull the same face as the face I draw on a character. Most of the time I don't even notice. My sister actually does something similar when she's feeding her infant: she wants him to open his mouth …
I am doing that, yep. I've been spending way more time on the couch than I like. Drawing, playing video games, watching Youtube... damn Youtube. But the real problem is I can't sit at a computer very long. Which is something I very much need to do to finish off my work.
Oh, good! Let's hope it stays that way. lol, Dr. Google. I like it! I'm thinking about getting splints for my ankles. Honestly, I roll them all the flippin' time. This time was just worse than usual. Good to know it sounds like they're actually worth something.
I hope it helps if you give it a try. During sleep a lot of people curl their wrists in toward themselves, so it may not be sitting at a good position for most of the night. Wearing mine during sleep was when I noticed a real difference. Good luck!
A train would be an awesome space for working! I love being able to move (sort of) and work at the same time. Long car rides are the best. For me, as long as I can change location once in a while I can work just about anywhere there's a surface with a reasonable height. My room, a coffee shop, the…
My comic will eventually have some bery NSFW pages in the gay sex department. I plan to eventually link to an outside site when it comes to that. Maybe Tumblr. But I'll do my best to keep the major plot/storyline readable for everyone here. The most NSFW I would go on Tapastic would be swearing …
I fear a lot when it comes to comics. The one I keep coming back to most, though, is my characters. I fear that my character development isn't done right. That people won't make a connection to them. Because that's my biggest thing when it comes to watching or reading stories. If I don't feel a…
So it is better at the moment, I hope? What did your doctor say? I was having a strain issue recently and panicked. I went to a walk-in clinic just to be safe and the doctor was rather flippant basically said, 'just stop doing the thing that's causing the thing to hurt.' I'd told him I make com…
Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Glad you're on the mend, though. I mean, boo for school, but I hope you can get back to drawing soon. Wink.
Goodness. Do you have a brace or anyhing like that? I was having a little wrist trouble a while ago and wore a brace to bed and while drawing for a week or two. That seemed to help a lot. BTW, it wasn't an official brave, it was an MMA glove I randomly bought a few years ago. And yeah, the erg…
Thank you, dear!
I hope so too
Man, I can only imagine how frustrating that must be. And just plain terrible in general. My only real-life hero in the world was Michael Turner. He was an amazing artist for Top Cow and, back in the 90's, introduced a totally unique drawing style that still heavily influences a lot of artists today…
Hey, all! It's story time! As a creative person, little is worse than having all the time in the world to create and not be able to do it. I recently started my comic Post on Tapastic. It shows as _post _. Things have been going well so far, I've been able to get lots done even while working…
I used to joke with my friends that I don't believe in man-nipps. But I've slowly come to love them. We all need to accept those adorable little nubs for the useless, cute bits of flesh that they are. ;p
I absolutely love that!
Sometimes it's to tell a silly joke on a funny comic, or to appreciate something I think was done particularly well. I feel a bit ashamed sometimes how often I DON'T comment. I know it's silly, but you appreciate everyone who works on a comic and wish you could make sure they know at all times, yo…
Whatever you do, don't abandon it. That's one of the worse things you could do. I've abandoned stories in the past and it's always just resulted in me being in the same place I was before. If you have to stop for a while, that's fine. Don't burn yourself out, just pick away at it whenever you can…
