"Sometimes I collect them. And sometimes ifI find enough, my aunt Lindy will make a little bracelet out of them," said Flor. She looked around and found a pink conshell and placed it against her ear.

Jericho tried again with the stone Zenith gave him, getting three skips this time. He smiled a little once the stone went underwater.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve done this,” he said. “…I’m glad I can do it again for once.”

“Did it look like this one?” Chiku asked, curious. “How different was your main planet from Earth?”

"It did. Doesn't look too different from this world. Aside from the moon," said Waffle. "It's not as empty and with a lot less craters."

It was good to see Jericho smiling for once, Shepherd thought. “Yes, this is nice.”

“Oh, right.” Callan wasn’t crafty himself, through no fault of his own. He could make a nice shiv?

He was about about to offer to help with collecting when Flor held a shell to her ear.

The confused siren raised a brow and gave Flor a funny look. “… what’re you doing now?”

"Listening to the ocean," Flor explained. She held out the shell to Callan to try.

Chiku thought about that for a moment. "You said you were from the moon," he said. "Is that moon your home?"

His sand mound was starting to come together, though it didn't look nearly as much like a castle as Waffle's did.

Jericho glanced between Shepherd and Zenith. "I remember you saying you landed on the beach when you first arrived here," he said to Shepherd. "Did you land on the beach, too?" he asked Zenith.

“Yep. We dropped into the water.” Shepherd said as he threw another pebble out to sea.

“Ooh-kay…?” Callan took the shell just to humour Flor, then awkwardly held it to his pointy ear.

“Hm… nope.” He shook his head and held the shell out to Flor. “It didn’t say anythin’… it waved though.”

"Not of this world, but another one, Tethren," Waffle explained.

Flor laughed.
"I guess it wasn't in a talking mood," she chuckled.

"hmm no, I appeared in an alley way...was quite the surprise..." he tossed another stone getting 1 bounce "How about you?"

“Feelin’ salty today I s’pose.” Callan smirked as he started to help Flor collect more shells. He used his tail like a brush, to move the sand aside.

"Ah, I see," Chiku said. "I wish I could visit the moon sometime."

"Oh, uh, I actually live here," Jericho said. "My sister and our friend brought everyone who landed on the beach back to our house. That's how we met a lot of the people in our group."

"Ah. That's very kind of you and your sister. To just welcome strangers let alone strangers from other realms."

"Guess so," said Flor with a laugh, picking up a few more shells. She watched Callan's tail. "What exactly are you, if you don't mind me asking. "

"What's the moon like on your world?" Asked Waffle.

"W- well it was her and Joni's idea rather than mine, come to think of it," Jericho said. "I had already just come home from an air race when they all came in... I admit I wasn't that happy about them sharing a house with us at first, but... now I'm I glad I met everyone."

"Supposedly it's empty," Chiku said. "But I've heard stories of humans who have flown there in big metal ships to collect rocks. The view of Earth is supposed to be amazing."

"Air race??? You can uhh fly?" Zenith tilted his head to one side

"I fly a plane, it's like a car that can fly," Jericho explained. "So... yes, but also no."

"car? Plane....like the metal cart?" Zenith seemed confused by this new tec.

“I’m a Siren.” Callan explained. “You don’t have those back home?”

“It sort of looks like Ace… just not alive or anything.” Shepherd added to what Jericho was saying.

He took out his phone, pulling up a photo of him and his plane before handing it to Zenith. “It’s an MXS-R model,” he said.

Waffle looked up at the sky.
"Bet it is. Mayne one day you'll be able to see it for yourself, " he said.

"We might, but I've never seen one. And I don't know if they have tails like yours, " said Flor, thinking it over. "But they're supposed to have beautiful singing. So much so, that it'll enchant people into crashing their boats just to hear them."
