“Hunting?” Tabitha smiled as Jack came over. “What’re you hunting for?”

The robot man looked about done. One of the mechanics sat him up, moving all his joints as he did so in order to make sure none of them would come loose again. When everything looked to be alright, the mechanic opened a panel on the back of the robot’s head, fiddling around with something inside before shutting it and stepping back.
The monitor on the robot’s chest turned on suddenly, fading from black to light blue as gears started turning and steam rose from the back of the bot’s head. It opened its eyes, staring into space for a good minute as it buffered, when all of a sudden it blinked and gave its head a shake.
“My!” Text appeared on its chest monitor as it took in its surroundings. “That was some dogfight. I thought I was done for.”
He looked around at the mechanics. His face remained blank as one of them asked, “Are you feeling alright?” And remained blank for a second or two longer than might have been normal, before cracking into a smile.
“Are you the ones who repaired me? Thank you very much!”
