Yael smiled and gave Shepherd the “Okay” sign before giving Connie a quick pat and going to join the others.
Melvin looked concerned. “Oh dear,” he said. “That’s not good. Well, I’m glad you all made it out alright.”
Biggin Hill looked to be a more solidly built aerodrome than Belrain. That being said, it still didn’t look terribly different from where the group had crash landed the previous day, save for the fact that there were more British plane models here than French ones.

Melvin looked around at everyone as they milled about, waving at the three Belrain airmen as they left to get some rest before the long flight back to their station. When they had disappeared, he turned back to the group.
“I’m glad we all made it here safely,” he said. “But our mission isn’t over yet. We’re on the outskirts of London right now, and the MI6 headquarters are further into the city.”
