Jericho brought his metal fist down on the head of another Seraph, stunning them, when Chiku suddenly said, “Sir, put me down.” It wasn’t a polite request, like the pangolin’s usual brand of asking for something. It was a demand.
The racer glanced at him in surprise before pulling him off his shoulders and gently setting him on the ground, going back to grappling with the Seraph.
Chiku scraped together the most dirt, debris, and pebbles he could find without getting himself stepped on (or worse), and started chanting.

They put up a good fight, sure, but one by one, the Seraphim in the group fell before Sam’s bo-staff. The one remaining Seraph raised their gun, aiming to take a fatal shot at Sam.

Yael motioned for Connie to come to her, looking apologetically at Shepherd for accidentally making him hit his head as the two emerged from under the car.
Tabitha wasn’t doing much better than Barrett when it came to showing any fallen Seraphim mercy. She activated her heat powers for a moment before slicing the arm of one officer clean off with her wings.
