Who would you have to redraw your comic(s) if they had the opportunity?

Hmmm I think my pick would probably be Afua Richardson if I had my way.

Her work is just...phenomenal and I think it'd do Kamikaze justice.

Bryan Lee O'Malley. Hands down. My comic is just so weird, goofy and action-packed that he would be a perfect fit. His art style may be simple, but it's incredibly charming, with a high focus on expressions. He's a really big inspiration for me with Scott Pilgrim and Seconds, so I totally wouldn't mind having him redraw it.

@Kamikaze Afua is boss- and REALLY nice! Met her at MomoCon...she signed my copy of Genius! Cant wait to see the work she is doing with Scott Snyder on some Batman stuff.

If I were to have my comic redrawn by a pro- I'd probably go with Mahmud Asrar. He has a fun way of drawing teens; I think this style would fit Ray & Melanye.

You know honestly I can't think of anyone, but I would love the hell out of it if someone infamous in cartooning did. Someone like Rob Liefeld would have me laughing for months.

I personally wouldn't have anyone redraw my comic unless my hands became so crippled that I had no choice.
If I really had to it would be Shirow Miwa because he's a great mangaka and did the designs for Kiznaiver.

I would love to see my comic VCvsDvsCFAD drawn with Kazuma Kaneko style, giving the same dark aura the Shin Megami Tensei games have. But guess what? I'll get better and redraw it like a pro hahaha.

I won't allow anybody to work on my comic even though I have artists that I like. So the only person who would redraw my comics is my own self. Why? Because my vision and style is different from them so if there's a different artist that will work on it, we might have a artistic conflict of some sort. Also, I won't feel that I own the work.

Plus my narcissistic levels are over 9000. So there.

Look, if I had a beautiful wife, and someone asked, "okay, but if you could choose any lover to make love to your wife instead, who would you choose?" ...... that would sound ludicrous to me. It would not make any sense. Sure, plenty of people could make love to my wife better than me, but.... I want to be the one to make love to my wife!! I don't want anyone else to do that!

That is how I feel about this. It's not "no one else can do it justice," it's more like ".....but...... it's mine."

there are plenty of artists who do beautiful work that i think would look AMAZING in place of mine(i love mar julia, kay d., and jocosejoni.. and gigi d.g. is really great), but honestly the person i want to redraw my comic will always be Future Me, having hopefully learned from those other artists and became a better artist myself!

i have to redo the first chapter of my comic if i ever do a print run(it's too small and i didn't understand formatting when i started, plus the art is shaky) i'm actually really excited for when that comes! it'll be a year or two or three but i know it will look so much better when it's done

Possibly Tite Kubo of Bleach. I wouldn't let him near any scripts but his art is friggin gorgeous. Backgrounds are a bit simplistic sometimes but then again, so are mine. ^_^

As id ask him to take it easy on the boob sizes of course. Then again, I'd have to do that with most manga authors...

it is my dream in life to work with adrian alphona (ms marvel) and i think his art style would mesh well with my comic - but i cant say for sure; ive never seen him do fantasy work. besides that, one of my favourite artists is the artist from we(l)come back, currently working on albatross on this very site, and i'd love to work with her. and obviouslys theres the artist from weirdworld, who is amazing and id love to see their take on my story's visuals.

Me too, I would definitely let kubo to redraw my comic as long as the story remains the same. His art is so wonderful

Even though I would need to get an artist since I'm a writer, my current dream casting would be Gurihiru of Avatar Last Airbender comic fame or something in a similar style for my superhero project about a young retail clerk trying her hand at the superhero trade. Most artists tend to think I want Liefeld, Toriyama, or Kirby style art when I say "superhero".

I would have my old teacher redraw it since he gave me 60% on it when I handed in the first 20 pages for my final project. >D (Still love 'im, though. )
