Who would you say is the most morally complex character in your Story?

As the Topic says, who is your most morally complex character?

For Aurexis, I'd honestly say that it's Eryn Myrr.

The upcoming chapters in the Story will expand on Eryn's Past and his Identity of who he is.

Unlike most people in my story, Eryn is the only major character whose greatest sin and greatest virtue come from the exact same place.

He believes Killing is unacceptable, that doing so leads you to be the same as the people you hate, people who kill and act like nothing's wrong with that action.

Yet at the same time, all he's done to move forward is betray, manipulate, lie and seduce when needed to survive.

If for the sake of survival, he's willing to break those rules, then why should he not kill?

And further down the line in Aurexis' Story, even more of Eryn's psychology will be explored.

His whole outlook on life is hypocritcal, because his actions are the complete opposite of his own moral compass.

I have to say that both Sam and Besh are equal, but in different ways. Still, both are old hands at killing. It sickens them, but there is no way around it. Check them out in The Space Bum series.

In Duality it would definitely have to be Jang Saheon, also known as The Royal Hound, The Immortal, The Evergreen Captain. He invented his own Law and is the only person that strictly follows it no matter what the cost. He will brutally murder villages of people just to appease the Law, and give meaning to his own hollow existence. Of course the reasoning is much deeper than that, but in order to know more you would have to follow his story

So far, probably Beros. He's one of the antagonists, a liar, a cheat, but also very caring of his siblings and hints of a higher motive.

Depends on the definition of "morally complex". But in my case probably Michelle Williams. She is the only one that grew up in what could pass as the "normal world". The real world of shadows showed her those principles can´t keep her alive here and she had to addapt. She became the "best of both worlds" and is now able to see things from both perspectives and make decisions accordingly. I think this makes the most complex one

At this moment, I could safely say Emeal. On one hand, he's a good teacher, takes care of his students and works well with others. He tries to stay upbeat when everyone else is down.

However, if he ever has to choose between saving his brother, Eli, or his students - he'd choose Eli every single time with no regrets.

The lengths he's willing to go to do that? That gets explored later on in the comic, but I will say he takes protecting Eli VERY seriously.

Meet Jenny Homes the report that gives a connection to the Fe-ward fiefdom. The hardest part of the writing work is having great OC that as to play second fiddle and the connecting thread of the ropes. as the investigation of the news article takes over the life of the report till the final report is made and The Wording show is done for the junto's of the show.

Oh, hands down, that would be Dim Mak. The deadliest woman and assassin on the planet, cold and ruthless, but also a mother and teacher. She is pragmatic, unwavering, even cruel, and yet cares deeply for her daughters, while at the same time wanting to push her legacy to them when they clearly don’t want it. I saw it as a challenge to write a compelling character that could also be sympathetic when you know they are a killer. It’s a fine line.

Ooh.. a tough one for me to answer without spoiling AngHell Dela blackpill...

Let's just say... each character so far is clear cut good or evil... but a supposedly evil character may end up saving the world but they're only after their self interest and none of this selfless hero stuff.

Definitely Thorn. He initially formed Crime as a way for ability users to use their powers for good and correct society's perception of them. But over time, his goals became more warped after the treatment he received from the unabilitied. Now, he wishes to purge the world of those who hurt him and make it a better place for ability users. His intentions are good, but the way he goes about them? Not so much

After his old childhood friend left him, he's gone mad. He's a creepy character, especially with his growing obsession towards Luna, but it's hard not to feel for him when the world failed him.

Definitely Yasmine.
She tries so hard to be there for her friend Kaitlin, despite her being kept in the dark about the human world. She might be the cause of so many betrayals, and trust all the wrong people, but at the end of the day she's still Kaitlin's best friend and will always be there for her when the time comes.
