Why is it that I have difficulty getting views?
Not just you but I think I can speak on behalf of everyone that we are all struggling to get readers and many factors come into play. As joannekwan mentioned, yours is only a few days old, so of course not many, if any, people have actually seen your comic, let alone clicked on it. You also need to expose the comic as much as possible. Webtoons does do this automatically when people go to the Canvas section and click on the appropriate genre that your comic is in. But of course, this is done for EVERY comic and there are hundreds of artist on Webtoons, so your comic only gets exposure for a limited amount of time before it gets buried to page 2, which I doubt many actually venture into.
Or is it normal right now?
Yes. Everyone one of us starts with no readers for a while, and due to the amount of comics online, literally thousands, maybe millions, getting an audience is difficult. But you can mitigate this by doing your own promotion. Simply depending on the system in place will only get you the bare minimum of people looking at your comic's thumbnail. Yes, only the thumbnail as not many people actually click on the majority of the comics. That's why people spend a lot of time on just the thumbnail alone. So if you really want to know if you should continue your project or not, you're gonna have to do a little DIY promotion. That, unfortunately, I have no advice on as I too am still trying to figure that out.
