Disliking Rey for piloting the Falcon because you believe she's never flown before is, in fact, invalid because she said flat out that she is a pilot. Disliking her because you believe she never struggled and never failed is, in fact, invalid because the movies showed she'd struggled most of her life, and TLJ was all about failure, including her setting out and failing to "save" Ben, and the next movie will in all likelihood show her dealing with the repercussions of her failure.
Also, just because something doesn't happen in this thread doesn't mean it doesn't happen elsewhere. Don't pretend that all Rey detractors are perfect little angels and that you have no idea why Rey fans get so defensive and quick to brand people as misogynistic.
And if you find yourself agreeing with the people who've bullied Daisy Ridley off of all social media and only disapproving of their methods, I'm not saying you have to, but it might be a good idea to ask yourself why. Is the problem really with Rey, or with you? Not very many people want to do that, because they have a much higher opinion of themselves than they deserve.
But disliking Rey because you've examined yourself, you've paid attention to the movies, and you've decided that character is simply not to your personal taste is perfectly valid. I didn't like Rey at first, because I generally dislike standoffishness and rudeness, until the movie progressed and I realized that was a facade and a coping mechanism. She then grew on me. Now granted, she still has flaws in abundance, traumas she needs to put past her and fears she needs to face, but who in the middle of a story doesn't?
