Why some old works have been deleted?

I often come across some comic links in this forum but many of them are inactive.

Have they been deleted by the creator, or by the platform because of inactive account/ old work?

I don't think Tapas removes any old works, so probably the users themselves.

I have no idea, but maybe the url changed at some point? I noticed that images from old forum threads don't work.

The only time Tapas removes a work is if it blatantly goes against their Content guidelines like if a story is hardcore ecchi, is stolen, etc. A series may also be disabled if the account on the main site has been banned I believe.

Otherwise it's the creator who either 1. removes it themselves or 2. changed the url for their story.
