Why not?
That's my thought anyway. Anything else I might say would probably come off as self-indulgent or congratulatory to myself, and I don't want to do that.
Art is the best way for me to interact with the world. It's my inborn talent and my cultivated skill, it's something I believe in, far more than anything else in this world, and it's certainly carried me this far.
One of my very best friends is fond of telling me the story of how he discovered some comics in his younger days that validated him -- made him feel like he wasn't alone, and that there were more people out there like him, and that his way of seeing things was okay. That his perspective was valid.
And that's perhaps the greatest reason why webcomics appeal to me: because it might just make all the difference in someone's life. And even besides that, it's something that makes a difference in my life, allowing me to express the things I need to express in order to live.
Forget me, remember me, whatever you want to do -- but be sure to read the stories I told while you had me available.
