That's why I started the thread. To give those answers.
Look, have you ever heard of diversified analysis? It's kind of like a math problem with several different but equally valuable and valid answers. So, when faced with a math problem, what do they always say? Break it apart and do the parts you do understand, then look at it again. Come back here to this thread each time you get stuck and try different tactics to address the problem at hand. Soon you'll know how to attack the problems of why.
As soon as you know how to break apart the problems of why, because there are several, you'll know why you pursue your art. As this thread shows each answer is as individual as the person, and mine might not be yours. But you can learn from trying on their coat so to speak.
I think the problem is one of compassion. So many people feel themselves failing but never give themselves the license to do so. It's ok to fail. If I never failed at anything, by definition I could not learn. Have some compassion for yourself, particularly in your failures, and design yourself to succeed. The way to become a giant is to sit on their shoulders and look at the world around you until you feel you must become your potential, just for the view alone.
I am no giant, but there are many in this thread. Pick one and hop on board.
