Hi, just for laughs , let's share crazy theories about our favorite comics/novels that are most likley untrue and baseless. Legitimate theories are welcome too!!! You can include your own comic, because why the hell not?

Blue life

Blue life world is a metaphor of the "afterlife". It is not that the characters are simple, is that they are the minimal expression of the soul beyond physical appearance. You die, you immediately appear on Blue life as a Blue, Red, Yellow, or Purple soul.

Robots have their own type of consciousness that's why Buil A, from Hue are you? can travel between frames looking like herself.

Burning Shadow

The original Flare died in the first pages and she was replaced with another girl.
You can see how the hair was more wavy and flowy the first panel. If I put arrows and circles in the pictures, it must be true.

Cyber Scrapyard

Grace got her knee fluids stolen when she was is that shady health facility. Look!!! she is not hiding her breast in that panel, no, she is protecting her weak knee articulations. Remember those creepy commercials? The doctors have no problem amputation and taking parts from people.

I'm especially impressed from Blue Life interpretation. You know, it sounds cool and it has its point.

Worm is a story of someone going to extremes for increasingly-contrived reasons. It is also the story of a protagonist going to extremes for increasingly-contrived reasons. Do not recommend.

As a personal rule i have every time someone does a theory of Rocky the rock, i am not gonna confirm or deny anything..........Just gonna say that Rocky has the power to do so .........

t's not a full proper theory yet. I think that the decorations in Elsie's house are symbols.

It was this page which tipped me off. I thought that central item looked like a framed sprig of holly or mistletoe. After a short web search, I learned that mistletoe is sometimes called "the vampire plant."...

Her decorations don't go together.at all, so I think each item has an individual and symbolic meaning.

The item on the right side looks like a dream catcher to me. Elsie is almost certainly not Native American (based on how she was wearing a Western dress in her portrait from the 1600s), so she wouldn't have a dreamcatcher without a reason. I just don't know what it symbolizes yet. My best guess at this point is that Elsie has a dream which she feels escapes from her, so she tries to catch it.

The pillows with the eye pattern have been seen several times. It's not the symbol of the Odditorium, the bar where she and Jimmy met, but the icon is similar. Maybe the eyes represent the reader, I dunno.

I have no guesses about the other wall hangings yet. I hope more clues will appear. -- or else I'm wrong about everything and Sarah is just drawing a wall she knows.

OMG, the decoration definitely seems to be telling something!! You are right. They seem too deliberate to be just the background, mostly because they can even be "distracting". The eye pattern is a very loud element.
I'm not familiar with the comic to theorize but I think you are catching some signs. Maybe is "watch out for the vampire and catch him". "kiss him, this is the man of your dreams". They can have different meanings.
