Will my work space accommodate a cintiq or similar?

i'm planning on getting a cintiq next year but my current workspace is too small for one thing

another thing is that me other table has a big ole printer

Here's my workspace (usually there's a big cat in front of the laptop, but she's off doing something in the other room right now). It's pretty small and I've got a Cintiq. I think you can probably make your area work.

You are probably going to need to get a smaller keyboard that can be moved out of the way, perhaps blue tooth. The only Cintiq you probably could fit is the 13in.

Any place can make for a good workspace. When I first started I had a accer laptop and a crappy prablo drawing tablet using a tv tray table and a couch. It's about finding a means to make your situation work for the time being.

I think you'll either need to take out your current monitor, get a monitor arm, or get a bigger desk. Even a 13" cintiq is going to be hard to fit on there

there are those rolling things that can be placed under desks so yor keyboard can slide out . . . but also honestly i think you have that little space under you computer where you could push your keyboard and use ur tablet. ur not going to be using two at the same time, and even if you did it;s a little reach bc it's in front

13-16 inch ones, yes if you move the keyboard but something like the 22hd probably wouldnt. i have the 22hd on a relatively big drafting table and i can only see about 1/3 of my laptop screen (15 inches for scale) behind it

You could throw a monitor shelf up there for the monitor/speakers... would free up a bunch of room.

They're pretty expensive I think but I've heard they're really good for preventing shoulder and back pain which is quite common from screen tablets.

My computer does not support blue tooth...and I had bad experiences with them.

I'm not at home or I would just take a photo, but I have a like 17 or 19" tablet fitting on my little 4 foot by 4 foot or so desk + laptop, and it works alright xD I drew a little diagram of how it fits:

now that I'm looking at it tho my table might actually be 3x3 lol...

looking at your space I think it might work if you move the circle thing up out of the way, move the keyboard up closer to the monitor (kinda like a laptop, if you just rest it right under. You only need your left hand to reach for keyboard shortcuts mostly) and adjust to having the mouse front and center like in my drawing. I basically just use that front center area for all my misc. stuff (mouse, tablet pen, live life on the edge and have a cup of water, etc.) Not ideal and I wish I had more space, but it works well enough xD

I'd say get one of those wooden tv trays (foldable table)
