Will you ever post your novel/ comics in your native language on Tapas?

Tapas hosts authors and creators from all over the world, so it is safe to say that English is not the mother tongue for many of us. What would motivate you to post in your native language as well, if you aren't doing it already?
Personally, I never thought of doing it, until a few days ago when I shared about it with some friends, who got interested in not only Tapas but my work as well.

The lack of audience can be the biggest downer . But they'd sure be more than the Bulgarians.

There is a spanish speaking community here, they don't post often on the forums, but i know for a fact that they exist

I planned to post the spanish version on other site, but if there are spanish speaking people here, i might as well share here too.....

Nah. Originally I made Hexameron in Russian only to find out that even my art account followers don't care, so we decided it's a waste of time to translate and remake every page for it, my writer just started writing in English and here we stand. Russians who know English will still most likely frequent English language sites anyway, so why put a comic in a different language that will have a smaller audience on an English language site.

I usually use wattpad for my novels in french, I feel like there are more french readers there, at least for novels owo

I don't think I'll translate my comics into french...

No. Why would I if even can't find English speaking audience?

No. I'm finnish and would get like two subs max. Finland is such a small nation and here probably only a handful know webcomics exists, let alone sites like tapas. I would have a microscopic pool of possible readers and of those even smaller portion would be interested in reading my comic. If I spoke french, german or spanish then yes I'd do it.

Probably not because Italian publishing companies are picky as hell and won't take any work that has already been published online elsewhere, so I prefer to stick to the English version for online sharing (which allows me to reach a wider audience anyway) and only work on an Italian translation once/if I decide to publish it.

I post mine! But it's because I can just put the translated dialogue on the original file and adjust the balloons, not too much work. It gets 1/10 of the subs at best, but it's good to display to people IRL.

I already did. It's in Polish.
Did it so that I have it at hand, if I'd like to show it to someone on the go.

No, as swiss is more like a spoken language. but I often just add some background things for fun with swiss text, like some books or boxes.

I started translating my comic in French but gave up because it does not feel natural. I'm very disconnected from casual French because I left the country a good while ago.
Now when I write dialogue in French it sounds too formal for my comic.
I don't say I will never post in French, but it would be time consuming to obtain an acceptable translation, so for now I prefer to focus on the English version.

No, but my native language is Danish so it wouldn't make any sense since we're only 5mil people haha
