Hey! I am not a comic creator on here at the moment. I am a writer and an artist. And I do hope to at some point have some books out there and maybe do my own art for them. Something like creating fan art for my own book!

I have recently been working on setting up a website. I was curious if anyone would be willing to take a look at it and let me know what you think? I would also love to hear any suggestions for more FAQ questions. Thank you in advance for your help!

I took a quick look. The empty landing page struck me as odd but other than that, I think it's quite well-organized.

As for the FAQ questions, if this was me, I would likely reorganize them. E.g. the posting to socials: You have two questions regarding that but there's another, unrelated one in the middle. Especially if you add more questions, it might become difficult to find what people are looking for. And btw, the last question is unable to be opened for me.

Thank you for taking a look! And thanks for that feedback! I will take a look at the organization of the FAQ page later today and I will try to figure out why the last one can't be opened. I got inspiration for the landing page from Nadia Axel's website. Hers opens on a blank page that just had a piece as the background. I liked the idea for immediately getting their eyes on your art. I am still iffy on whether or not I like it tho... Thanks for the feedback! It really helps! And thanks for taking the time to go to the site!

It's a pretty nice site! Though, I do agree that the empty landing page is a bit odd. Perhaps incorporating a slideshow of some basic information along with examples of your artwork might be a better eye-catching landing page. Just a suggestion, though.

Also, on the commissions page, I think you could make the box holding your rates a bit bigger. Currently, it all looks a little too compact.

The landing page has also been talked about, but I also recommend reorganizing your Illustration page - kinda like your stickers, by theme and maybe mood! It's no big problem to have them in a slightly random order, but it's more memorable if you don't have the monochrome pictures "break up" the line of colorful ones.

I also recommend having commission examples in the pricing page. A buyer already knows your style, but they might be discouraged if they don't know if your portfolio examples and commission categories are one and the same.(for example, if you offer colored sketches, the fully-rendered pretty art might leave their expectations different than an example of exactly what you're selling)

Thank you for this! I will take a look and try them out with a bigger font. Thank you for taking the time to look at it!

Thank you for this! Third time is a charm, so maybe I will see about changing up the landing page. As far as the sticker gallery, I will take a look at that as well. I didn't realize that it looked like it. I definitely want it to be a bit more uniform, or completely random. So I will try to make a decision on that and fix it up as well! I wanted to add examples to the commission page. Though I am still working on creating more finished pieces for the page. I don't want some to have examples and others not to. So I will work on creating examples for that page as well! Thank you again for taking the time to look at it! I really appreciate it!!!

I thought about this thing with the landing page again: I get what you were going for and I think the idea in itself isn't bad and could work. I think what kind of made it puzzling for me is that it doesn't look like an image you want to present to me but more like I'm looking at the background of the website and that the text that should be there is missing.
I don't know if that is making much sense but that the way it is being represented is kinda off? Maybe because the image is the background for the whole website instead of being in the foreground. What I could imagine (I'm not an artist though so take this with a bag of salt) is having it like a picture that plops up first with a short welcome note and then you click on it to get to the actual website? I think I've seen that kind of thing on websites of photographers at least

Thank you for that feedback. I kind of agree with what you are saying. Like how it feels like there should be something there. I'm not sure how to do what you are suggesting, though I do thing that would be cool! But maybe I could just out a greeting over that page, the home page itself. Like some that says welcome and maybe a smaller sentence below it that says something like a greeting!

Yeah, maybe just try different things and then stick with whatever you like best
