Work place. Desk. Table

Hi people! Iets share a pics from our work places!)) Just come to mind, that it can be pretty interesting, to see, how other artists create. Is it a dark and smoky room? Or bright? girly? full of masterpieces?))) Or maybe its office?

You're in luck, because I just posted a photo of mine on Twitter this past Sunday!

This is the dark corner where the work gets done!

Note: it is not usually this clean - I've just cleared away a snowdrift of post-its and paper covered in scribbles and stray comics and a box of business cards and some discarded envelopes and who knows what else.

Note 2: this photo crops out some of the space. My cintiq does, in fact, have a left side, and there's another three or so feet of desk space to the right of the teapot, which my cat is currently napping on; this is just the main setup I work with.

yeah, on the first glance your desk looks strangely ....clear... lol
but if you say that its not always so, I'm calm lol

I have a bigger workspace at my boyfriends place but for now here's my small space at my parents home ^^b


I would say it's kind of girly since I have pink carpet and flowery decor everywhere lol inspires me to make shojo manga more xD but I like it dark in there ;x

They're using a digital display tablet It's something you hook up to your computer to duplicate the screen, and then you can draw right on it (instead of using a desk tablet which sits by your side). I've got one too, a Cintiq Companion 2 (so it's a full computer that can do everything a computer can, from web browsing to gaming, with the added benefit of using it as a drawing tablet).

This is my "workplace".

Not much to show really, I just sit on the couch and watch Netflix while I draw :U

Like @UzukiCheverie said its a display tablet! I'm using a Wacom Cintiq 13hd and also have a companion for emergencies/traveling purposes ^^b~

@UzukiCheverie @Tanisha OH MY GAWD! THAT'S THE coolest ever !!! was it expensive? is it touch screen or do you just use the pen?

It's a bit pricey. The 13hd was cheaper and you can get it with either touchscreen or no touch. ^^b~

This is my illustration/painting/comic making corner of disorganized chaos!

Whiteboards and calendars with lists of stuff I need to do.

Cork-boards of random prints/pictures and fan art from my comics.

Scanner. Printer.

Drawing tablet, to do the drawing of the comic pages on.

Monitor 1 for reference stuff, either with script or images, whatever I need at the moment.

Monitor 2 for music playlist, chats, hangouts, netflix... you know... so it doesn't get the way with work.

(my brother gives me his old stuff when he updates his computers)

And drawers and drawers of traditional art supplies that I don't use anymore because arthritis (all drawers not in picture)

Here's where I do digital art and comics, with my small and simple tablet... I use the scanner sometimes to scan sketches.

And here's my traditional art space... Mostly used for doing sketches and planning. Also use this wooden guy as reference for poses hehe

@APM Your drawing tablet is very similar to mine, and I got it really cheap too.XD Bought it back in 2012 and it's still alive to this day. ^u^ .... and that eraser dude!!! I have the same one too (only the color faded and the rubber tore off)! D:

Mine's pen and touch, cost me about $3k after taxes and shipping (used a chunk of my student loans for the year on it along with money I had saved up). Definitely pricey, but is pretty much the most advanced model Wacom has on the market right now in terms of digital display tablets. Plus I use it for work so I'm at least making the money back with it lol :U
