Worst fear, snakes or spiders?

Yeah no. Whenever I see spiders I freeze in my tracks and can’t move for a while. I used to make fun of my brother for doing high pitched screams whenever he saw them, but now I totally understand... burn them with fire

That thing looks scary. Reminds me of those white fuzzy caterpillars that sting and leave a rash. Accidentally leaned against a giant one and man did it sting.

I have snakes so those aren't scary in the least for me. Spiders I've always disliked enough to avoid the room I found one in but never enough to kill. I'm actually warming up to them a little bit.
I don't think I really have an animal fear/hatred. They all have both cute sides and scary sides.

As for me I like all animals and even bugs! Tho i admit I am not very good at remembering which animals are the poisons ones so whenever I see any wild spiders/snakes i tend to just keep my distance.

Snakes and spiders are awesome and fascinating. What I hate? Flies. Ugly disgusting little beings. They grow on dead things and shit and then put their dirty legs (paws or whatever?) on your food. They contaminate everything they touch. I hate them and their ugly babies and I'm glad nobody wants them as pet.

Necrophagous beetles though.. They are beautiful! And less hazardous bacteriologically speaking, dung beetles. Would totally have these as pets.
I don't like necro/copro diptera much for sure. At least the beetles stay put and don't fly on your food.

Scorpions. Not the big ones you see in movies, I mean the small ones with a highly concentrated poison. It took years for my mom's hand to look and move normal again after she got stung by one when she was gardening. Those little devils are also dark, stay very quiet, and look just like dirt. Even worse, they are incredibly resistant so stepping on them sometimes does nothing.

Mm, I'm okay with spiders. (Actually kept a wild tarantula as a pet for a couple months before releasing it)
As for snakes, I'm cautious around them, I'm less afraid of their actual selves than I am of just how darn fast they can be.

But the animals that actually make my skin crawl and I go 'eeuuuaaaggghhh' at are worms and slimy worm-like things, ie. leeches. I can just picture them burrowing into my skiiinnnn.

well unless you live in australia you're probably not gonna find a snake in an unexpected place in your house. I hate spiders, especially because we also have black widows around here. even the harmess ones like the garden spiders creep me the f out just because of how they look. snakes can be cute, but not spiders. don't @ me.

I live in Australia, so it's pretty common to see both here. Pretty sure my house is also home to hundreds of spiders. I've seen snakes while out hiking, and there are signs that warn of snakes on all the biking tracks I use. Honestly, I love snakes and I think they're cute, and spiders I can tolerate.

Cockroaches are an instant kill for me though, but I'm not really afraid of them.

My sister is horrified by spiders, but I've never really been bothered by them that much.

It's the stuff that lurks in the deep sea that freaks me out the most. Especially giant squids. Used to be afraid of octopuses, but after I did a book report on them, I think they're cool.

Also, carnivorous plants weird me out as well for some reason... Especially pitcher plants.

Neither, they are both very good, cool and cute especially if we're considering them 'pets at a friends house'

I don't think I've run into a pet that I have been 'scared of' when going to a friends, but there have been pets I have been 'scared for' because some of my friends are just horrible pet owners and are not good of taking care of their pets. I had one friend that though his bearded dragon only needed to be fed once a month.

I will admit Pets that have awful owners are probrably one of my worst fears. I love dogs but if you dont put any energy into training you're giant pooches and they think that chewing on peoples arms is a fine way to say hello then I just cant deal.

Snakes are good noodles and spiders are shy boys who protect you from insects that kill you. How could you.

After living in outback Australia, definitely snakes. If I saw one, it was far more likely to kill you than the average spider you'd come across. I even used to consider the huntsman spiders in my house as pets, because they were beneficial to have around.
