Would anyone want to read a comic about life with autism?

I've been thinking about starting a comic on here as personal art practice. Since I really like comics that more or less follow the artist's daily life (Think "The Pigeon Gazette" and "4-Panel Life") I was curious if anyone would want to read a comic bout things that happen in my life, and since I'm autistic, it could even be a nice way to help allistic (non-autistic) people understand autism a little better.

Any thoughts?

Just do it.
Asking if people will be interested in reading a comic you're thinking of doing is utterly pointless.

In comics what matters is that you're a doer, not a market researcher.

Absolutely! In my comic Motsuro Project I have an autistic character. But since I'm allistic I'd need a lot of research to make it good. I'd love to read your comic, you do you!

I think it's important to show these sort of things in comics it shows people what struggles people have to deal with, go for it!

I also have an autistic character in my comic Wait...What My entire family and I am on the spectrum though the person my character Berdie is based on is High functioning.

I like good autobiographical comics. It should be true to life. There needs to be more exposure.
I always thought of doing an autobiographical comic about my bipolar, but in a dark self deprecating humor type way. I'm the type that wants laughs not tears haha.

Additionally to most people probably being interested to learn a new perspective, thematically you have a good chance of standing out. At least I haven't seen any autobiographic comic about autism here yet.

It could be interesting.

Mary and Max is an animated film where the the main character has Aspergers and it is probably one of the best animated films I've ever seen.

I'd read a comic about the eating habits of a common garden worm if it was funny/cute/insightful/touching etc.

I've started drawing for this and have the title set up (nothing else though lmao). It's going to be called "So, I'm Autistic". I'm really looking forward to putting up the first page!

Yeah, I would be interested in reading it. I like to read about other people's experiences of life - I know mine has been tough recently, due to health issues, so reading about autism will be interesting to see life in the perspective of someone who is autistic.
