So I made a manga short as requested on auto desk with my tablet. That said I can't figure out how to make it into a scrollable web novel on clip studio. For a 6 page short would it be better for scrolling being it mostly is read on cellphones and how do I import without all the extra crap it keeps giving me lol.

To make a comic scrollable you just make the canvas as tall as you need to fit the panels in it. It's no different from a regular comic page except the panels are stacked vertically. Let's just say you have 5 panels that's 1000 pixels tall each, you make the canvas 5 times that height plus extra because you want some spacing between the panels.

Well I wanted to add the cool stuff as well like where you can see s sunset in the panel back ground as it gradually scrolls down so on and so forth adding more details to the panels not just blocks and windows and so far clip studio has gave me hell!

You're probably frustrated that CSP imported your image with the transparent parts turned white. Don't get too mad at it, it did exactly what you told it to. The reason why was because the original image was not transparent to begin with, either because it was a jpg or the white background wasn't properly deleted if it was saved in the proper format.

We figured out what the problem was in your other thread and it's a couple of extra easy steps. I think CSP is great. Better than Photoshop.

Also, here's another tip when you are ready to start uploading your comic. Tapas has a maximum height limit to images, so if your canvas is very long it needs to be cropped into smaller parts. This website automates the process for you so you don't need to worry about cropping it yourself.

I will try that my daughter showed me Ibis paint and I was able to make 1 panel.
I am just not sure if it will load right. I have read may different measurements for it LOL. Also yeah my daughter said I needed to do a transparent background.

I figured I could crop if once I imported it but I guess not

Let me explain I read the image needed to be 50 thumbnails in a panel and at least 3-5 panels in total to make a story board for a chapter right now I have like 13 on 1 and it is 1600 x 15360 and even that looks weird like am I making things to small or to big will it load more than 1 and how do I not cram it.

Well for one, the maximum width of an image Tapas will allow you to upload is 940 pixels, so 1600 is too wide. As to how your comic will look on a mobile screen, I personally like to have only one panel visible on the screen at any given time, so I make sure there's enough space between them to make this happen.

This is my guide on the general dimensions of a screen, I just make sure the panel fits within this pink box.

Here is a full scroll of one of my episodes, it's about 18 panels. This is before I put it in a slicer, so it should give you an idea of how a scrolling comic generally looks.

On Webtoon I consolidated this episode with others so it is even longer. That's the nice thing about scrolling comics, you can stack as many panels as you want because of the vertical format.

On the LINE WEBTOON website, it has a limit of 800x1280px for each image's width x height. On Tapas, individual images are only limited to 940px in width, with no height restriction.

So if you want to serialize on both WEBTOON and Tapas simultaneously, I recommend creating your pages at least 1600x2560px, which is twice the size of 800x1280px.

I do panel by panel to make it scrollable. As consolidation into one image makes file bigger and causes more lag time for the reader

Okay so when you make that long strip what is that size then 940x4500?

I didn't know it could go that high and you said you can put about 18 panels. episodes like solo leveling I counted and have researched having a average of 50 so does that mean I need like 2-3 of them sizes? Also what program do you use Ibispaint only goes to 16383

Do you use something to clip it? How do you know where to cut it at. I have figured out Croppy but that's only after if finished everything but like my current manga people say it looks stretched and blurry

I think, in your case, the issue lies on how you transferred your drawing from where you drew them to where you created the document you sent to croppy. Something clearly went wrong there.
Could you post a comparison of the panel as you originally drew them and the same panel as you sent to croppy.

Yea, the pouolar korean webtoons are probably at minimum triple the length of what I've been doing. Ibispaint is only for mobile devices right? The reason why Ibispaint has a size limit is probably not to overload the processing power of the mobile you're using.

The program I'm using is Clip Studio Paint on a laptop, and my limit is my devices' processing power. If my laptop start chugging then the size of the image is too much for it to handle.

If your device cannot handle more than a certain size, you can still draw your comic in 3 separate canvases and upload them into one update. Tapas will still combine them for you.

I fixed the stretchy and Pixley./blur I believe... I think each device shows different let me know what you think I also made some changes for story and pacing.

Some of the panels look sharper and you seemed to have replaced the text effects so those do look better. The lineart in some of your panels still have the same blury/bad artifacts issue, but I think that is probably an issue with the original file in Ibis.

There's no way to make a small image not look blurry when enlarged, the only option is to redraw it completely, it's up to you if it's worth the effort, but just leaving it for now and pressing forward to help you learn new things is also an option.

In the future make sure your comic panels are at least twice the size of your comic canvas. You said your canvas was 1600 pixels wide, so make the panels at least 3000 pixels which you then shrink down to 1600. That way your images will be nice and sharp.
