I'm already subbed!
100 subs takes a while! Just starting out it's tough to get subs, and you only have two updates online so far. It took me 9 months to get to 100 subs (my expectation was ~2 years to get to 100 subs).
Yes, some people do better, but they likely have established audiences from other platforms, are already skilled at marketing, or have support from Tapas. Advertising on these forums gets you a solid boost (I should have been active on here sooner)- but there's only a couple dozen regulars on here, we won't be able to get you to 100 on our own.
Don't get discouraged if you don't get immediate success, most people don't! Focus on proving that you have the endurance to finish your comic in a professional manner, so that readers know they aren't wasting your time with a story that will fizzle. Give them 6 months of weekly updates and you'll see that number start to grow. Find community comics in your genre that started at the same time as you and keep track of them for comparison, that helped me keep my expectations realistic early on.
