Would you read a comic about flowers?

So recently I've joined an art contest and I decided to use flowers and their meaning. As I was researching these I thought about making a comic about people who represent these types of flowers and their meanings. I don't know how much people would want to read something like this so I'm just asking

White roses all the way. I love how they look, smell and they are so angelic.

I think this is a great idea! I actually tried something like this once...only I went one step further and assigned each character a bird AND a flower. It got a little messy...but I enjoyed developing the artstyle, near the end. ^^;

One issue I ran into was in trying to use the 'Language of Flowers' for my character assignments-- I don't think there's an exhaustive/definitive list of all flower meanings, and even if there is, I don't think the website I was using met that standard. ^^; After a while I felt self-conscious about the accuracy of my characters' flowers, and re-conceptualized the story to make them less important...I could probably do better research now, but the story's so old and established, it's not really worth it. I think I'd rather just see someone else tackle the idea.

Oh wow, I love the character designs. My comics is going to have a definite dark tone because the main character is going to represent red spider lilies due to that being my favorite flower. I'm currently working on the cover

There's an anime like that. It's called "Oresuki", and it's a comedy masterpiece.

I’d definitely give it a shot, at the very least it sounds like a great excuse to research flower meanings.

Even though I wouldn´t read it (no interest in nature, flowers etc)
I like the idea and I think that there are a lot of people who would be interested
in it and it´s an excellent idea to do something like this for an art contest.

I love flowers (and have a few stories similar to this idea lol) so I say go for it, it could be fun or cute

It is XD. It's a Picasso lily, which I think represents my personality pretty well.

I’d absolutely love that. I had a similar story when I was younger and plants/flowers might actually be one of my special interests, even though I’m more interested in botany than the aesthetical meaning of flowers. Maybe a story that has both would be cool, like for example, a villain that’s inspired by the lily of the valley? Because they look so cute and innocent but are quite poisonous actually.
That said, do whatever makes you happy, you don’t have to listen to my weird ramblings here lol

Well actually I was thinking of doing something like that, but instead of lily of the valley it's spider lilies. See spider lilies represent departure and death and have a chemical that makes them very dangerous

Oh yeah Spider lilies make a much creepier villain… and they also have an actual meaning, many poisonous plants don’t really have an obvious meaning even if they’re beautiful. I think some other poisonous plants that have meanings are mandrake, deadly nightshade, wolfsbane, and maybe foxglove but I’m not too sure about those
