Would You Trade Your Writing/Drawing Skills for Super Powers?

For me, no. Because if I have super powers, I will understand how it's like to be superman.

Burden with great power, comes serious consequences. Everyone and everything around you is as fragile as an egg, buildings are as vulnerable as cardboards, always being careful not to break something, and someone.

A responsibility I can't handle.

I am fine just they way I am. A human.

Absolutely. If I were to have superpowers though, I would want the whole Superman package. I would be terrifying though, as I'd go around the world imposing my values on people and destroying governments, and organizations that I didn't agree with. So kind of glad superpowers don't really exist.

First of all, there's nothing exceptional about my writing & drawing skills. I'm not a master or anything. So trading them for super powers is actually an upgrade

And secondly, I'm just curious if I end up being like Homelander.

Besides, that doesn't mean I can't write & draw anymore, right? I just won't be as good. So yeah...

No, having super powers sounds miserable. We live in the smartphone/social media era, if you stand out too much, people will just gawk at you. I think of all the unfortunate people who became a viral meme then spent years being stalked and harassed.

I would rather people enjoy the stuff I draw and write instead of treating me like someone in a freak show.

Honestly, this is what I landed on when I thought about it. I love my art and stories too much to give them up for the stress of having a super power and being targeted/recruited for what I can do for others over what I want for myself :V.

I feel like alot of problems could be instantly solved by mind control - and if I had mind control then I don't think drawing or writing would be much of a priorty. Can we just not draw at all or only draw badly, because I'm pretty ok with only being able to draw badly and if I had mind control I could just convince people it was good.

Ohh no, I definitely want people to have an accurate opinion of my work :'D I'd totally go for mind control though, if it lets me directly inject my story into other people's heads the way it appears in my head, but lets them come to their own conclusions about its quality as if they got these memories from actually reading a comic of my story
