I’ve noticed a lot of people fretting over losing subs. While I admit that losing a sub doesn’t fill me with joy, I also don’t lose any sleep over it. The sub you lost might have been somebody who subbed to you hoping you’d sub back (sub4sub). It might be somebody who accidentally hit the “unsubscribe” button while scrolling - I have done this many times, and then one day I’ll think “Gee, I haven’t seen anything from this story in a while” and I’ll go looking for it, only to discover it isn’t in my subbed list anymore. Then I’ve got some catching up to do.
It might be that you overdo it on the notifications and somebody unsubscribed because of that (you do not need to click the “notify” button for every little revision you’ve made to your episodes or every time a thought enters your head).
Or, it might just be that somebody read some of your story and lost interest. It happens. Not everybody will be a fan.
Myself, I hate spelling/grammar errors that I’ve missed after reading it thirty times. Also art errors that, when I see them, I can’t believe that I didn’t notice them while drawing.
