Hey there.
I am looking for an artist to help me with my covers since the best I can do is stick figures. I am willing to give credit and also should a story make profits I am willing to share that as well, collaboration is also on the table if anyone wants it to be. I am planning to publish several romance stories, some bl and others not starting as soon as I find an artist to help with their covers (and/or chapter covers) so anyone interested should be prepared for that but shouldn't worry since I am willing to work at the artists pace.
Anyone interested can pm me or reply here and I will then send them a description of one of the covers I have in mind which I won't use without permission of course.
Answering the questions of the first commenter.
1) I am a writer first, second and always. Its my hobby, job and way of relaxing; its second nature to me to create a world and play around in it in my head until the story or stories I want to have happen in it all make sense and become a story I want to tell. I mostly just enjoy creating worlds like the ones that inspire me like Final Fantasy and the like; big worlds with history and backstory which help to enhance a story being told.
2) I am just searching for someone to create covers for the stories just sitting on my computer at the moment, since I don't want to publish them without having a good cover for them. As for a sample of my writing you can go check out my story here on Tapas which I uploaded to test the waters. I write most all genres, from romance to horror and from horror to fantasy, and like I said it is second nature for me to create a new story so I end up having too many most of the time but it gives me the time to either trade them or refine them.
3) The skills I am looking for is someone who can tell a story with one picture, by expressing in the drawing not just the sad or happy smile but also the reason behind it. Manga style would be fine, something close to the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation or the like. Cartoon style is also okay for some of the stories I have in mind since I have a story or two which lean more in the direction of cute and funny then what I normally write.
4) I have gotten used to publishing a chapter at least once a week, but since I am only really asking for help with the covers for the stories it shouldn't be too time consuming, plus I am a patient person. If an artist is interested in a story to the point where they would like to draw a cover for each chapter as well then I will work around their time table since I know all too well how hard it is to juggle the requirements of life. The same goes should someone want to collaborate, I will be more then happy to work with their schedule; I write really fast and only ever stop writing during November to take part in NaNoWriMo.
5) I don't have a portfolio, though as for previous work the only one that is really online right now is the one I published on Tapas since I had started to consider uploading them all as serials which in turn led me to Tapas.
