Have any of you had gotten into the writing so much and you really feel it flowing but then you realize that you have made no sense in what you wrote and are disappointed because you got ahead of yourself

He is kind of a bad guy in a fantasy story that I write. But I made him sacrifice himself in the end.
I swear I'm no George R. R. Martin :grimacing:

Wow. I am thinking of making one of the main characters die in the manga that I am writing in a collaboration. You know, to add some drama and character development.

This! I've already spotted two of the names i've researched in other works, a hit and miss.

I think this is an issue if the other work is well known on a global scale. If not, then go for it. It's only when it's like a household name that I'd be weary of it.

@joannekwan Names are name :s I've read some books where they've reused the same names for several characters. Not at all confusing! Either way, I'd say forget the other stories! A character's name is their identity! It's impossible to change.

Thank you! One of the hardest parts is finding the right names to fit the character's personality. I have been looking forever to find some good ones and those two popped up!

Ah they never really need to fit their personality, I think. I mean realistically, parents would sometimes give their kids some weird ass names X'D. Imagine an intergalactic warlord named Bobby.

Oh my god. Passive Adjectives death roll Don't you just love it when you're passive accidentally during a serious or action-packed scene and its like jumps off a cliff

Back pain. Freaking chronic back pain. So much damn back pain. Wait did I talk about the back pain? Just to be safe - THE DAMN BACK PAIN.
