This happens so much to me. Then I just lose motivation and that's a whole battle i gotta fight my way through again. :expressionless:

I find it a little too easy to kill of characters, but there's always the moment after when you have a scene they'd normally be a part of and you go to write their line of dialogue, then there's this silence and you realise just how attached you were.

Ever forget to do basic human things while working? Like eating?

Me: finally finishing working on a page Ah, all d--...
Stomach: OH EMM GEE!!!1!!1 FEEEEEED MEEEEEEEE~!
Me:

I swear I do that every single time. Like, oh I finished that chapter and it's past 5pm and I haven't had lunch.

I hate when I start having good ideas when I'm about to fall asleep. I used to think I'd just remember them the next day but nope. I'd always wake up forgetting what they were. Now whenever it happens I just write down the idea real quick on my phone to make sure it doesn't get away.

hhhhhhhh tfw u Know a scene and are ready to write it when you cant, and when you can your mind is a brick wall

I hate when i come up with a perfect idea that would totally work for my story and make things seem soooo awesome but then i remember where my story is at so far and think "hell, how do i get from here to there?" End up having to write that down elsewhere as a "save for later" idea...

What's really rough is when you have at least 3 chapters done but your artist is busy so they can't get your manga done...

Lol at least u have an artist. I keep having people get super excited and i send them something to try and work on and never hear from them again

Ughh, my biggest writer pet peeve is when I have a story that I'm so excited to write, but then I get another idea for a story, and I know I can't write both at the same time, so I have to choose which one I'm going to write and end up deleting both of them in the end because I get another idea and start to write that.

Why can't you write both at the same time? And why do you have to delete them if a new one arises?

Whenever I get new ideas with current ones in the work I just create new documents anyway. I find myself jumping from project to project as bursts of inspiration hit for each respective one, so they all gradually get developed concurrently.

Same.
I have 14 different folders fir 14 different stories. And I try to spend a day working with each.

Because I'm really lazy and I don't have the time or motivation to finish the old story. Actually, I used to delete my old stories, but now I compile them into a single document I call "Scraped Stories." They're all just there in case I get the motivation to finish them or something to look back on or give the idea to someone else who's willing to make a story out of it. I'm trying to stay more committal to my stories, and I guess I'm improving, but whatever.
