Hi @Minerva_Matues I'm Michael. And I get where you are coming from. Most people after a while get writers block. I've wrote a few novels & made a view comics. Writers block can sometimes be to hard to overcome. It's very great you took time from technology. When I got writers block I didn't draw or think of anything for a entire year! Not to say that will happen to you! Anyway all I'm saying is I understand. But I have some tips!
One thing you could do "if you already haven't" Is to do nothing. Don't think about your novel while you're taking your break. However you should at least stay online, maybe Instagram, Twitter?
Another thing I've learn is Writers Block can come from depression. Not to say you are, of course.
However sometimes we can be depressed without even knowing it! I was in the same spot spending a entire year doing nothing creative. Then I started meditation. Some don't believe it works. But trust me It does! You just have to find the right one for you! There's some really good ones on Youtube for confidents & finding yourself & motivation!
You could also do a test.
Try thinking of some new ideas for a new series. Hear me out!
If you start thinking of some really sweet ideas, then you know what that means?
It could mean It's not you! It's the series! You're mind just can't process the story! Why?
Maybe deep down you don't like the way something is? Either a character or something in the chapter!
Same has happened to me! Believe it or not I have a lot of series that I had to stop because I had writers block.
I do have words of advice!
3 months from now, if you're still having the same problem! & This is coming from a creator to a creator. It's time to think of something new! And try again! You don't wanna waste your time waiting & waiting. I'm not saying give up, in fact keep trying! Maybe even force yourself to write then maybe you'll get back in the mood!
I hope this helps you!
