I am so sorry for being late with my reply. I didn't have time to come to the forums and have just seen your post now.
Let me reply. Hope it's not too late!
So, about NaNo, the first couple of times it felt hard to write that much in a month. Afterwards, I knew I was able to do it, so in my mind, it became easier, but every year, there are days when I struggle keeping up with the wordcounts and such. Reading all the pep-talk (and giving them sometimes!) helps loads. I think the first may be the hardest, because you don't have the confidence you can do it. Then I always think about that forum section at the NaNo site where soldiers fighting wars are writing their novel and winning NaNo. I mean, if they can do it, who am I to complain?
We can definitely write 50K in month, or more! Even if you study or work full-time! It's doable!!! Protip: I always take off the last 2 days from work
