Here is mine, you can read ahead of chapters posted on Tapas, and can even get a free ebook (with the 3rd tier)

My next milestone is reaching 300 subs on Sword & Mirror! I currently have 297... the last three is so hard to get! As soon as I reach 300, I'll post a new chapter ahead of schedule to celebrate  If you like romantic fantasy, and/or medieval Japan, check it out  You can find it here (updates eve…

I want to say thank you for supporting creators. It's been a tendency for a while (especially in indie publishing) that platforms where content is available is slowly being censored. So it's very refreshing and reassuring that Tapas is making a point of standing next to its creators and creative fre…

Also, I can translate it to Hungarian, if you're interested (I know it's not a big language). Let me know if you'd like that

I use it for important updates about my WIP. Or sharing updates on my writing progress.

Hello, Are you interested in a time-travel romance set in feudal Japan, with some magic thrown in?

Thank you! Hope you could make it! I couldn't, unfortunately, but I'm gonna continue updating!

Serena, is that San Francisco time?

Ah, 2 more days (in my timezone)! And the day after the deadline I'm moving house. It's just... I can't prioritize, I hope I can get up 10 chapters by then! I'm at 7. Ugh.

Maybe when you start making the event genre-centric you can limit it to genres that are being neglected, forbid romance altogether [...] I understand what you mean, it'd give a wider selection of great stories much needed attention, but we need to keep in mind that Tapas is a publishing company an…

Dear All, you can still browse the whole collection here: https://tapas.io/collection/FirstWritersCamp

I am so sorry for being late with my reply. I didn't have time to come to the forums and have just seen your post now. Let me reply. Hope it's not too late! So, about NaNo, the first couple of times it felt hard to write that much in a month. Afterwards, I knew I was able to do it, so in my mind, …

It's ridiculous how I thought 10 days ago I can do 75K while working full-time. Let's just stick with 50K. We can all do 50K!!! 2 more days to go, that's PLENTY of time to write!!!

So you have a comic and you need a writer and the writer has to pay you? Good luck with that!

Thank you! <3 (20charactersugh)

Serena has replied to most of your questions, I just wanted to add, that yeah, you can write 50 000 words and not finish and still win. Winner usually get coupons and discounts (something writing-related), e.g. Scrivener usually offers discounts, but there are other companies/services, worth to chec…

Yay, congrats! ^^ Good luck with the rewrite and I wish you lots of inspiration!

Sure you can do that. You can be a NaNo Rebel. I think I'm rebelling this year, too (rebelled last year). So many unfinished manuscripts that need to be finished!!! I'm very excited! Thank you, @serena for opening this thread! ^^ I wanted to ask about the NaNo events. What time zone are you using fo…

OMG my book is trending! Sorry for just barging in, but I'm so excited! I'm so happy! I think this is the first time it's in trending! Woohoo! @williamjbowles I'm doing NaNo, too! I'll open a NaNo thread on the forum, I wonder how many others from Tapas are participating this year  Good luck with …

Awesome idea! I wonder if we can do something similar with writers.

I see what you mean. That'd be great indeed!

It was Melo Holic for me. Starts out pretty tame with a mystery, then gets darker eventually. It also has psychological flair to it. One of my favs to this day. I should probably re-read it! And there was probably darker ones, but I can't remember another right now. All the things are read are a mix…

I know that, but even if you don't have the money to pay someone to make a good cover for your book, you can offer something else in exchange for the artist. There are ways to make it work. I'm just saying if you want to draw readers in, you need a killer cover and killer blurb. That was your origin…

I would use a branch with leaves to sweep the forest floor behind me, so it would cover my tracks. And they need to be extra careful not to break off small branches/leaves/etc. when going through the forest. Other than that, I have no idea, but I hope this helps!!!

Book cover is just as important as the content, because that's the first thing that catches the eye. If it looks someone threw it together in paint, that's amateurish. Will your prose be just as bad? Is it worth my time if you couldn't make yourself put in enough effort to make it look professional?…
