This project originally started as a video game idea 
Mines is a comic: superhero x dark fantasy x shonen with a survival horror element
Inspired by films such as Underworld, The Thing and Evil Dead, Stranger Things and games such as Devil May Cry, Castlevania, Resident Evil, Dead Space, Tekken
It follows two brothers (Owen, Evan) and an ex-assassin (Xun). They become carriers of a highly infectious virus and also gain superhuman abilities in the process. While they try in vain to stop the virus from spreading, a group of ruthless superhumans turn the infection into a grizzly game. They meet other allies along the way. The other superhumans include pretty boys n girls for your usual fangirl fix XD
The heart of the story is brotherhood, responsibility and family (it's also the bond between a gay and straight brother - Evan, the gay brother has a BL subplot and has feelings for Xun. Xun takes the role of a big brother & teaches them survival skills. Several superhumans include people from Xun's past.)
