Hello guys, i would need your help in making a story and character details and backstory, and maybe make new ones. It's a superhero comic, and i'm not very good with writing a story, but i have some characters, that i will draw and post on this forum, to show you what i mean. I appreciate all the help i get.

they are being drawn, i have two starting ones but i need to take a picture of them so that i can post them, plus i have ideas for more but i need to draw the starting idea first

he looks scary already
would suggest 2 things based on my personal taste:
1. consider simplifying the character design more because if he is the main character, you will find yourself drawing him a looooot. Take the design of most superheroes for example, you'll notice they are super simple (got it? ) and that makes them unforgettable too
2. 'm not a big superhero fan, but when it comes to the costumed/caped superhero genre, 'am easily attracted to comedy/parody-themed ones (e.g. Kick-Ass and One-Punch Man) read them if you wanna build a ridiculous backstory for your character

They give me a Judge Dredd type feel. What is their universe like? Post-apocalyptic? Dystopian? Our world? Sci-fi?

ummm like ours, but a bit futuristic with a little better technology, an yeah, i ment to make them judge-like, because they all have thei'r reasons to have vengance and they after a lot of fights in between them, team up against a huge threat. i made another character yesterday, but i didn't have time to upload it, he's basiclly a god's protector, from another realm, that was burnt down, and god had to inhabit a body of the best warrior in that realm, and now with all the god's powers, that warrior is one of the most powerful creatures that will come to our world, and he will have a twist of mind set in the middle of the story

And this is a knight from the past that got in our timeline by a portal and has incredible strenght caused by the diference of the past earth and the future earth, it's gravity level, it's atmosphere and air

wow, okay, well, I think you have a lot of ideas, gods and time travelers magic and technology... mmh, idk how to help you at this point. I think you have to sit down and write down what you would REALLY want to have and what you can write off. All these ideas are cool but I don't think they go well together :/

Do you have any other miscellaneous work? Though you may not think it, from what I'm seeing, you really have a lot to work on - problems you should fix before considering tackling a big project like this:

The poses for your characters are mostly stiff. They don't have a very satisfying 'flow' to their shape, I think you'd benefit from studying things like anatomy and gestures.
By looking at the individual parts of your characters, I can also tell you're suffering from 'symbol drawing', in that you aren't really drawing the shapes with a 3 dimensional mindset. They look quite flat and lacking depth. Studying perspective will also help you alot.

Even though it's an article for beginners, even I, someone who's been drawing for a while, learned a few things, so I think you really should go through it in-depth.

Good luck with your project, everything is hard work from here.
