Y'all have any news on whether Tapas will put the Writers Camp on the Front Page?

Yes... with all that said, unless it’s going to detract from their revenue somehow (which I doubt an inbox message or a promo in the back of one of the carousels would), I don’t see any reason not to send an announcement other than negligence... I really, really want Tapas to do well so I’m really hoping that this isn’t a warning sign of mismanagement/inefficiency, but it is the sort of thing that would be a red flag to me when I am assessing whether to work somewhere

I'm still on board with the something great is coming we just don't what theory, they must have something planned esp after what was stated about featuring camp and all that!

That's true... it's also possible they're planning something larger scale that involves coins or something, which would take more work!

Yep, we won't really know until the contest ends so we should just focus on making our stories the best we can for when the end does come!!

I really hope this is the case. My entry is the sixth one down in the list after you tap the banner and I've only been getting less views since it went up on the front page. Unless 5 views in one day for a ten-episode novel is already a decent amount...?

I feel you XD it's really frustrating how little they're advertising it and it seems as if whoever had the most subs to begin with before the camp started is going to win without any promos on the front page. (which is okay by me. I love Peni's work) But holy smokes! I was hoping to get more subs and views than this--hopefully get my name out, you know?

5 views isn't bad, however. I think I got 11 views on mine so far today so mine's definitely been going down too. We all also have to keep repeating to ourselves that how many views or subs you get does not reflect the quality of our work.

I can understand that frustration I have felt with my video editing. For me personally I can understand my novel not getting that much attention in the first place because I'm a new member. To get what I got now for this novel I think its a miracle.

Maybe if there are enough suggestions they can add other competitions to the site for different goals and such. Since I think from what i saw when I looked into this, this is only the second writer's camp right?

Not just for the benefit of the people participating in the writer's camp but also for those of us in novels on this site, period.

We deserve better and I hope we can start seeing more effort to our endeavors.

I'm guessing that this is all we're getting since there's less than a week left. Kinda sucks. I was expecting more views/engagement than the first camp, but at the same time, I'm also proud and excited with the novel I'm writing For some strange reason, my entry from the first camp has gained more subs during this one. I had hit a plateau before camp started. Not that I mind!
