If I keep my memories, do I keep the knowledge of what's happening in the story next?

My main character from 6,75, Kestrel, is a thief. The total amount she's accused of stealing is so big that she'd face a death penalty if she got caught. Anddd she gets caught, but manages to escape the punishment with a help of a famous inventor. She starts working for him, but also considers running away with most of his fortune.

Now, if I switched places with her, knowing what happens next, I'd probably do a big "I'm out of here"... and then die of hunger in the forest, because I've been living my whole life in a city and I'd have a very low survival chance in a medieval world, not being able to enter any town unless I want myself to get caught CX

If I switched places with her not knowing what happens next and just trying to live like her, well... Karamanczi (the inventor) would have a riddle why his thief suddenly can't steal a thing CX but it would be a blessing for other characters, especially city guard, who would finally be able to relax c;

Oh jeez I'd be a helpless semi Shinji clone fighting giant monsters to get out of a coma and regain conciseness: I'd like to say I'd be brave and badass but I'd most likely end up dying within the first five minutes of being there or I would end up hiding away honestly.

Well my character is a boy half human half bat with superpowers he just aquired and doesn't know how to use.
But were Skip goes into the city to fix the problem I always wait till I learn some more about what is happening to me.
Then again that doesn't always solve the problems and at times make them worse.
And I would have to get used to having to tails.

Well damn, I'm pretty sure I'd be in trouble if I were suddenly Grey. I don't really enjoy conflict and I'm not at all skilled in hand to hand combat (not that we've actually gotten to that point in the comic yet), so it would be a very different story. More like, hey, I'm just going to sit here and avoid everyone forever.. I can probably grow my own food and I have a basic understanding of how to purify water, so we can just go ahead and change the title of the comic to "My life as a hermit after the apocalypse, I guess".

If I were Sabot, my other MC, I don't actually think much would change at all.. I'd just hope I have enough internal strength to keep going.

The whole comic Garden Of Mold is my character is afraid of leaving the house and becomes a fungus monster. First of all i'd be happy as all hell their problems are less severe as mine and I could avoid turning into a mushroom zombie by building up the courage to leave the house. Problem solved.

If I were in Mallory's situation, I definitely wouldn't be as merciful (*´ω｀)o which would drastically change the course of the story. and like most other people in this forum, I would misuse the shit out of her powers... but then again I'd probably be just as bad at using them XD

If I suddenly became Zeke from Visceral I might survive but only if I also had his memories. Being alone in the wilderness for years suffering from mild PTSD would be super rough! I am more like a house cat who wishes they were an outside cat. I would most likely die of starvation, exposure, animal attacks, accidental injury, illness, or loneliness. On the other hand, it would be amazing living off the land with no humans to spoil the experience or any shackles of society.

If I was Tavia from Whetstone I would be doing pretty well until I had to kill a bunch of people lol! I would be fortunate to have a badass friend like Tilly to watch my back Plus it would feel really good to be able to seriously make a difference by eliminating a few people who threw the world into chaos.

Well, since I would have all of my own memories, would that mean I would know all of the secrets of the story that my MCs don't know? 'Cause then it'd be easy since I know exactly what to do to get the 'happy ending' XD
Neither of my MCs really do much that's important to the plot that I really can't do (they aren't sword-fighters or spys; one can bake really well, but so can I, so.. yeah), so it wouldn't be too hard for me.
Honestly my webcomic is sorta shaped by the MCs mental outlooks and state of minds, and since I happen to be better at dealing with things mentally than either of them, I would probably do really well XD (my MCs are actually sort of representations of the types of people I was afraid I would become like one day, but I actually matured to be much more level-headed and empathetic than either of them).

If I were to switch places with Roxy in Cosmos Song, I definitely wouldn't be as patient as she is in the story. I would probably be a lot more cautious around the new guy, instead of wanting to get to know him all the time and wanting to hang out with him so much.
