So I been painting since January. It started with a dream of the cover, so I followed it and began creating scenes from my first ever written work of literature. It's about a hero, who has a rough childhood, but overcomes the hardships as an adult and becomes madly in love with a woman from a far away land. He then begins a journey to earn the right to free her from her master and marry her. It takes place on several continents, and spans his entire journey to becoming a deified hero.
I'm using acrylics for the work. I just now have copies on digital of the paintings that are excellent quality, and so I am SO pleased with that. I am playing impressionistic music by staring at the pages and playing on violin to accompany each episode. I'm hoping in the end to privately publish with createspace and buy a copy for myself and that's likely all I will do with it beyond tapas publication.
The work itself is from my early adult life (when I was 18/19 years of age). The character is roughly based on my brother, as I wanted to see him in a work of fiction as a hero living a rich life.
I have been told some pages remind friends of Van Gogh. It's a really fun process, just frustrating as heck to get quality images on the computer of them.
