Your biggest dreams or goals as a creator?

I think it's a fairly common goal! I also feel like it's the reason most people tend to work in a genre similar to their idols- or tend to have their style influenced by them.
Peer recognition is just another aspect of recognition which most people strive for, anyhow.

Haha so many. For my upcoming webcomic, I have dreams for it.

I don't care about money (though, you DO need money to live) I just want gain a readership. I would love to see people enjoying my works and telling me that my work gave them feelings and get relieve from stress. One day, I'll also travel different places in the world and meet different kinds of people because of my talent.

Weird but as for my webcomic, I would like to see an adaptation one day (be it a TV series, movie, etc.)

It may sound impossible but you need to keep on doing what you love, right?

At the moment it's to finish my current comic. It sounds simple enough, but so many creators, even popular ones making money off their webcomics, fail to do this. The internet is littered with dead webcomics, and I'd like for mine not to be one of them.

For me, to make a fun and engaging story that people are invested in! Any money made so far is going back into the comic to make it more of an experience such as merch, contests, maybe animations (really hope so!!!!) I just wanna make a fun story for folks.

My biggest goal and dream is to have readers who are seriously invested in the comic. I wait all week for my favorite webcomics to update, and I speculate about what's going to happen, and sometimes draw art about it. I want my comic to hold that position for other people. And especially since my comic is going to pay off big time if you're following the myth arc intensely, I want people to have that elation like - I was right! aha!
A smaller goal but I would like to be able to go to a con... I got waitlisted at CAKE this year because 500+ people applied, LOL. I'm still going to attend, but it'd be nice to table next year.

I've always had so many stories and so many characters, but they're only real to me, because I never tell their stories wholly. Having a comic means other people get to hear these stories and they like them! That's incredible.

Yeah not needing to work and make money off of comics would be soooo nice! ewe when inkblazers was still around there were people that had it as a job I hope my favorite creators will do well here!

In order of importance
1. To make people laugh (or make engaging stories that could be published)
2. To be acknowledged by my favorite artists (Mark Crilley, Bill Watterson, etc.) (or people in general...)
3. To be able to animate it (Which would be AWESOME!!!)
4. Money (I don't want to be poor)
4 1/2. Fame (I don't know... it'd be nice I guess... this ones not really necessary...)
These are the top ones at least... I think publishing a graphic novel would be my biggest goal, the rest kind of comes with it if it's successful

My biggest dreams are to write and draw all the situations that I want to put my characters in over the coming years, all the while to entertain, surprise, and shock fans of my comics

Ideally, to make a story that everyone likes. Something big such as Naruto or Bleach but has meaning behind it such as...I won't say because not everyone agrees. I have two big stories like that that I would hope could be big but meaningful at the same time. I could always do them as an independent artist but for one; no money in that. I'm not that good to begin with. Also, a lot less people would find it.

So a step below ideal would be making a good living as a manga artist. It's technically possible but as risky as a 18yr old blonde moving to California with dreams of "becoming an actress." -- highly competitive industry with low high success rates (i.e. becoming really famous).

So a step further below that...I guess a hobby. If all else fails, I would try to fit in a convention here and there along with a crafts fair or farmers market and sell some stuff. All while having an actual, full-time job.

We all want to dream big and aim high, and at the same time, we also need to be realistic. If we want to aim that high, just be ready for failure and have backups.

THAT'S for sure, and I'm one of those people who haven't finished a main story comic (finished a prequel comic and a one-shot, but so far that's it), so finishing DANIEL is definitely a big priority for me...it's also why I plan to aim a bit shorter with all of my future comics.

Other than that, well of course, like many other people I'd love to publish my comics and maybe some money off of them...but that's not most important to me.

What's most important to me is just leaving behind some interesting stories.

My first answer was kind of jokey and flippant, so I'll explain a bit more. I'd really just like for my comics to be appreciated, and to make them every day with as little work related distractions as possible. For that to happen, I'd have to get paid to make them, hence my earlier answer. I dunno, making comics just fulfils me, and I really want to get better and faster at doing it.
