Yeah. I'm drawing in a sketchbook. I don't want to cut the pages out to scan them because I like everything as a whole. I try to crop out as much as possible.

Page 85 is from a comic that is on Webtoon, I have it here at Tapas, but it's only in Portuguese for now.

Ah, no, not quite haha, but I've been wondering if that sentense wasn't giving a bit too much. Finally, I'm glad I let it if it arises some wild guessings.

Ah ok ok. I mean the initial opening does indeed leaves you imagination wild. The hole chapter gets me pumped really to whats to come.

Hi Adriano, really awesome style that reminds me of the looney tunes day actually.
Just remember to put the number of the page with each post se we know the timeline.

@Eskhar Oof, that cocoon is really creepy looking D: Great artwork as always, friend!
@WhiskeyClone I like that you're working on all of these in a sketchbook! What a great way to keep it all together! :smiley:
@juniorguilherme340 The lighting in these last two panels have a cinematic feel to them. Great job!

LOSTLAND - 7

Thanks o/ The colours are all thanks to a friend of mine, she lend me her talent for the prologue. I'm working on improving, but colours takes me too much time and I find really really hard to keep the dynamism of action scenes in colours @___@ !)

@blingoxxide
I was wondering, how do you make Hoon girl ? It seems kind of 3D ?

'Hoon Girls' used 'MakeHuman' for model setup, poses, and rendering. I sometimes did post render image manipulation. Recently, I use Daz3DStudio for rendering (getting things from blender sites, and other places).

For [Hoon Girls] I wanted to create rich backgrounds. I have no art skill, but can use tools to make illustrations like these.

Thank you very much for your answer o/
(one of my student was asking me it there was any software that could help him make comics as he has a lot of ideas but drawing is difficult for him. I'm quite sure rendering has its own challenges, but I think this might be a valuable help for him ! <3)

Agreed, programs like maya and such has a ridiculous amount tabs and options. Its well overwhelming at first for sure. But for these modeling and rendering apps, you basically only need to know 20% of the entire thing. The rest is for very specific people, so not as bad.
