Yeah, I remember when Gangnam Style and Psy were all the rage as well.

Still think it's hilarious that the video just so happened to break 1 billion views on December 21st, 2012. AKA, the end of the Mayan Calendar and the supposed end of the world.

Boy group: Monsta X
I was obsessed with 'Dramarama' music video. Its time-travel story is almost haunting. I enjoyed reading lots of fan theories about it.

Girl group: (G)I-DLE
Their leader Jeon Soyeon is unbelievably talented. She writes, sings, dances, raps and leads. The performance of 'Lion' is dominantly empowering. Soyeon is also well known as Akali in K/DA ;D

I got into K-pop in 2015 with EXO, and they've been my ultimate bias group ever since (seen them 4 times!). Many of the groups that I've listened to consistently and attended their shows are not together anymore, inactive, or are busy in the military (GOT7, Teen Top, BAP, INFINITE, VIXX, Block B, KNK, etc). If you like more R&B, DEAN is AMAZING.

I'm not big into girl groups except APINK, and that's only because my husband's ex-roommate was cousins with Bomi. He was super nice and gave me autographed Bomi things since he didn't want them.

I'm also fan of BTS and Blackpink. I really love rosé's "On the ground" right now
Also of Stray Kids since the start But thats also a group that everyone like XD
Also I like:

The Rose

Enhypen

(also the show I-land was sooo good - enhypen was formed there. its on viki)

Also Itzy, Big Bang, Seventeen and some of SF9

And non-kpop (but also korean), I like:
DEAN, Dawn, Zico, Jackson Wang, Tiffany Young, Jessi, Day6, Beenzino and Epik High

They also did some podcasts, but I wish they performed it on shows. I guess they opted not to, because the title tracks featured other artist and they couldn't join.

Yeah I love Tablos Podcast
There are not many hip hop artist joining MAMA and so on, mostly only bc they are originally kpop artist. There are a few hip hop shown like "Show me the money" where Epik high also have some guest appearances or as Judges (Tablo season 3+4)
And they are all married and except Mithra Jin they also have children.
I think, because of this, they didn't perform often

I had a k-pop phase in 2009- 2012 and I only really listen to G-Dragon still, he's pretty awesome, (but he'd be more along hip-hop not pop now) he did a song with Skrillex if I remember right.
